De Niro: Keep fighting Trump

Famous US actor Robert De Niro has spoken out strongly against US President Donald Trump, calling on Americans to continue protesting and resisting him.

In a recent interview on MSNBC, De Niro said that the fight against Trump must not stop, because Trump “does not want to leave the White House.”

His message came after the No Kings protests, large nationwide demonstrations held on October 18, 2024, where millions of people gathered to express opposition to Trump’s policies and governing style.

During the interview, De Niro warned that many people were still underestimating Trump’s desire to keep political power.

According to the veteran actor, some Republican leaders know that Trump is acting like a “bully,” but they still support him and allow him to dominate their party.

He said that the only way to deal with a bully is not to back down but to fight back.

The No Kings movement focuses on defending democracy and stopping what protesters see as Trump’s attempts to act like a monarch.

Many of the protestors were also driven by other major issues, including immigration enforcement, cuts to federal programs, and the presence of National Guard troops in several large cities.
